jessica + joe | maysville engagement session |

| Jessica is a hotshot lawyer in Chicago. Joe is an engineer (works on diesel engines, how cool is that?) from the small town of Maysville. This week, the three of us got together in Maysville for their engagement session. The only other time in my life that I'd been to Maysville was when I was driving through to Vanceburg, Kentucky for one of the most memorable weddings of my career. (I'll never forget it Lori!) I wish I had some images from the wedding but it was back in 2004, pre-blog. It was a great wedding... ceremony in front of an abandoned church, four wheelers, tent reception in the front yard, batman wedding cake, goats for the kids to play with... yes you read that right. A riot for sure! Anyway, Joe showed me around Maysville. It's a cozy little city. Bridges, flood walls and murals of famous folks like George Clooney's mom, Rosemary, who was quite famous in her day.
