Todd Pellowe's Blog | Louisville Wedding Photographer

Welcome to the new and improved photography blog of Todd Pellowe. I'm a wedding photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. My goal at every wedding I shoot is to tell an authentic story that is as beautiful as it is artistic. This blog serves as a creative outlet where I can post my favorite images from weddings and other shoots. Along with images from weddings and engagement sessions, you're likely to find images of my family (check out the "personal" category to see the latest on the Pellowe family) and other random images from our adventures through life. If you're a prospective client, friend or fellow wedding photographer, I hope you enjoy looking through the galleries.

Don't forget to let me know you were here by dropping some blog love in a comments section.

Laura's veil got caught and flew out of her hair as they walked down the aisle. Ryne went back to retrieve it.

Elizabeth + John | Louisville Wedding at Gingerwoods

Aug 17 | Weddings

Warm. Warm is the word that comes to mind thinking back on Elizabeth and John's wedding. And while it was quite warm outside, it was the warmth felt between Elizabeth and John as well as their friends and family that makes me think of the word. I could really sense a wonderful connection between them all day. (Which makes my job so much fun!) One of the highlights for me was listening to Elizabeth's father play a beautiful rendition of "How Deep the Father's Love For Us" on the classical guitar before he walked her down the aisle. I get so spoiled as a wedding photographer hearing such great live music week in and week out.

It's all in the eyes.

I just love the field across the street from Gingerwoods. We walked down a little ways and found a marshy spot with moors.

The cake topper was the same one that her grandparents used at their wedding.

I just love how all the girls (and John) are dancing in one spot and all the guys are looking from the sidelines.

And if you're interested in seeing more photographs from their wedding, here's their slideshow.
