Todd Pellowe's Blog | Louisville Wedding Photographer
Welcome to the new and improved photography blog of Todd Pellowe. I'm a wedding photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. My goal at every wedding I shoot is to tell an authentic story that is as beautiful as it is artistic. This blog serves as a creative outlet where I can post my favorite images from weddings and other shoots. Along with images from weddings and engagement sessions, you're likely to find images of my family (check out the "personal" category to see the latest on the Pellowe family) and other random images from our adventures through life. If you're a prospective client, friend or fellow wedding photographer, I hope you enjoy looking through the galleries.
Don't forget to let me know you were here by dropping some blog love in a comments section.

If you haven't heard about Southern Weddings Magazine yet, it's the latest up and coming blog and magazine. The idea is simple enough. Instead of filling their magazines full of advertising and filler, they load up their pages with gobs and gobs of pure wedding goodness. Real weddings, great details and best of all (in my very humble opinion, of course) incredible wedding photography. I am honored to have some of my images in their very first issue. Todd Pellowe is bringing Kentucky wedding photography to the national scene, woot woot! Lara Casey, the editor or Southern Weddings, is a super-friendly, inspirational person. It just so happens that she has fallen in love with Tori and Patrick's wedding. So much so that she put their shoe shot on her publisher's letter. Here are a few images from the magazine itself.
And here are a few additional images from Tori's wedding.
I would much rather shoot a wedding with a million wonderful moments than a wedding with a million wonderful details. Fortunately for me, Scott and Audrey's Lexington wedding had both. When I heard that the knot had published their wedding, I went back to the slideshow I made for them and thought, "That was a great wedding... why isn't this slideshow on the new blog?" I couldn't think of a good answer to my question, so here it is. (To watch the show, just hit that little play button in the lower left-hand corner below.) Enjoy!
2009 is on track to be the biggest, busiest year ever for Todd Pellowe Weddings. (A very good thing! YAY!) If you are one of my clients and you're thinking to yourself, "When should I call to to set up my engagement session?" The answer is now, before things get crazy for you and me. Give me an email (todd AT tpellowe DOT com) or give me a call to set it up. March and April are great months for shooting these sessions! Seriously, do it.
Also, if you can read the text, but cannot see the image above, it's because you need to update your bookmark. My blog now permanently resides at http://toddpelloweblog.com. Please update your bookmarks. Thanks!
I just got an email from Christine, a 2009 client of mine. She attached the COOLEST save the date I've ever seen. I love that it's based off the Frazier/Ali fight. Christine is a graphic designer for a children's book company in New York City and put this together using her mad skills. Word on the street is Sonny claims to be the art director for the project. But from the tone of Christine's email, I have my doubts. Sonny?
Names and dates have been blurred out to keep all my crazy wedding crasher friends away. You know who you are! Don't even think about it.
