My goal at every wedding I shoot is to tell an authentic story that is as beautiful as it is artistic. This blog serves as a creative outlet where I can post my favorite images from weddings and other shoots. And what an honor photographing their New Year's Eve wedding was. So I'm not going to try. You're just going to have to trust me. |

Rachel + Wes | The Rivue at Galt House Wedding |

| Wow. What a wedding! Rachel and Wes had an incredible wedding downtown at the Rivue Restaurant atop of the Galt House. It's an incredible space with all kinds of great views and modern decor. One of my favorite Louisville wedding planners, Ellen Fox of Shafox Weddings and Events , did an amazing job making Rachel's wedding vision a reality. A highlight of the night for me was when Wes' fraternity brothers literally shook the building with a raucous mosh pit with Wes getting thrown repeatedly into the air. Now that's how you celebrate a marriage! |
| I knew when the party started in the limo bus on the way to the reception we were in for a fun night. What dance move is that Wes? |
| I've also got to mention The Endless Summer Band. They are out of Indianapolis and fortunately, I'm seeing them more and more down here in Kentucky. They are amazing and really bring the party non-stop. Excellent wedding band! |

| I'm in love with love.
Not the quick flashes of love seen on screen. But the deep toned kind of love. The kind between roommates who have traveled through life together. The kind between sisters who have been there for one another. I see it all around me and it makes me smile. It was especially present at this intimate wedding on Laura's family estate in London. |
