Todd Pellowe's Blog | Louisville Wedding Photographer

Welcome to the new and improved photography blog of Todd Pellowe. I'm a wedding photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. My goal at every wedding I shoot is to tell an authentic story that is as beautiful as it is artistic. This blog serves as a creative outlet where I can post my favorite images from weddings and other shoots. Along with images from weddings and engagement sessions, you're likely to find images of my family (check out the "personal" category to see the latest on the Pellowe family) and other random images from our adventures through life. If you're a prospective client, friend or fellow wedding photographer, I hope you enjoy looking through the galleries.

Don't forget to let me know you were here by dropping some blog love in a comments section.

Alyson + Carsten | Indianapolis Wedding Photography

Nov 30 | Weddings

This past Saturday, I shot a very special wedding up in Indianapolis. My good friend Carsten got married (to an incredible girl, I might add). I love photographing weddings. It's literally one of my favorite things to do in life. But shooting the wedding of a friend that I have spent so many great times with was especially great. It was also super fun because Emily and Avery got to come to the wedding with me. Avery had the time of her life. I think she would be a professional wedding guest if that were a job. She hasn't stopped twirling and talking about Alyson's beautiful white dress since the wedding.

Can you spot Avery? Hint: She's the one with pink, sparkly princess shoes on.

After the ceremony, we headed over to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, where Alyson and Carsten got engaged last year.

Hello killer sunset!

Andrew was being goofy with this little talking flower.

Chad telling the famous gumball story.

This was one of those "wipe the tears from my eyes so I can see through the viewfinder" moments.

Work it Cailyn!

Cailyn and Brian read their (beautiful and sweet) vows from their iPhones.

I love the range of emotion in this shot.

Cailyn and Brian met at the UK where they both pursued their passion for the tuba and euphonium. They had a tuba/euphonium quartet play at their cocktail hour.

Katy + Mike | Yew Dell Wedding Photography

Nov 19 | Weddings

Wedding Venue: Yew Dell Gardens
Wedding Planner: Marcie Hancock
Tent and Reception Furniture: Lauren at Camargo Rentals

This setting reminded me of a scene out of the newer "Pride and Prejudice" movie. And yes, I do dig a little Jane Austen. Don't hate on me.

Yew Dell Wedding Ceremony

I love little moments in the day like this one. Katy and Mike went to fetch the flower girl's tiara from the castle. As they were walking back, they were enjoying the look of Katy's new ring. Totally unscripted, totally genuine.

The fabulous Camargo Rentals hooked up an amazing tent complete with a huge chandelier. Swankified.

THE Clyde Brown rocked yet another wedding reception. He continues to wow me with his mad vocal skills. These three kids loved him too.

Angie + Kevin | Crazy Fun Halloween Wedding

Nov 13 | Weddings

Everybody put on costumes to come to this wedding except for this guy. He just climbed out of his deer stand.

After the wedding ceremony, the bridesmaids turned their classy black dresses into fun costumes.

Yes, that's the wedding cake!
