Todd Pellowe's Blog | Louisville Wedding Photographer
Welcome to the new and improved photography blog of Todd Pellowe. I'm a wedding photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. My goal at every wedding I shoot is to tell an authentic story that is as beautiful as it is artistic. This blog serves as a creative outlet where I can post my favorite images from weddings and other shoots. Along with images from weddings and engagement sessions, you're likely to find images of my family (check out the "personal" category to see the latest on the Pellowe family) and other random images from our adventures through life. If you're a prospective client, friend or fellow wedding photographer, I hope you enjoy looking through the galleries.
Don't forget to let me know you were here by dropping some blog love in a comments section.

It's a boy and a girl! In the words of my friend Ryan, I was finally able to "put a stem on the apple". (See visual evidence below.) We're totally excited to have a boy and a girl coming into the family. I still can't believe that I'm going to have a son. Very cool. Unfortunately, there wasn't a great shot of the two of them together. We'll just have to wait until they're out of the oven for that. I've got some great ideas for twins shots. Can't wait for my new guinea pigs.
Our little girl.
The two of them together. (I can't make it out either.)
Supposedly, this is my son's peeper. (never thought I'd write that phrase on the blog.)
And congratulations to my brother-in-law Ben, who won the $15 iTunes gift card in the drawing. I loved reading the comments y'all wrote in the blog post and Ben's comment was no exception. He wrote, "In my infinite wisdom and knowledge of such things, I predict there will be 1 cute little girl and 1 strapping little man. I also predict that I will be their favorite uncle." Congrats on the iTunes cash. Please try not to buy boy band music with it.
I wanted to show you some frames from the Kings of Leon concert at the Louisville Palace downtown . I went with my buddy Lang and had a great time. I brought a 5D with my trusty 35mm lens with me and ended up getting some decent shots from our seats. I love the lighting at concerts. If you don't know KOL, they've got some great music that you can sing at the top of your lungs, which is personally my favorite thing to do at concerts.
No it's not another pregnancy announcement. (PHEW!)
My website was LONG overdue for an update. Well, I'm super stoked to say, it's here! Bigger images, cleaner design. Did I mention bigger images? :) I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I've enjoyed putting it together. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but all the important stuff is there. I'd love to hear what you think about it! (Even if you have a suggestion or critique! I'm a big boy, I can handle it.)

As you may know, Emily and I are expecting twins. We've decided that we want to find out what gender(s) the babies will be so we have a little time to prepare for the madness. We'll be finding out next week. Before we do, I wanted to set up a little poll to see how prophetic y'all are.
Those of you who like to know all the facts, you may find this information helpful before you guess.
- We think they are fraternal and not identical, based on the doctor's opinion.
- I have two older sisters and one younger brother. Coincidence?
- Emily has four brothers and no sisters. Perhaps God is giving her the sisters she always wanted in the form of... daughters?
- We chose not to find out with Avery and Lerran. In both cases, we had girls.
- When Lerran was born, my good friend Jeff (who has 3 girls) said "God has decided. There's already enough man in the Pellowe house."
Happy guessing! To make this a little more interesting, I will randomly draw from the group of you that guess correctly and the person selected will receive $15.00 to iTunes.
